Natural Pigments Workshop March 14, 2026 | Saturday | 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Location: Interpretive Center of the Protected Local Landscape of the Socorro and Archeira Mountains On March 14th, the Live With Earth Association organized a Workshop on Inorganic Natural Pigments & Eco-Arts together with the Torres Vedras Environmental Education Center. The activity took place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Interpretive Center of the Protected Local Landscape of the Socorro and Archeira Mountains, in Cadriceira. During the workshop there was a group presentation circle, presentation of the Live With Earth Association, presentation of Rui Vasques' Doctoral Thesis-Project in Design, followed by the practical part where participants learned how to create pigments from colored earths, and how to use these pigments in the creation of ecological paints. Among these and other shared experiences, we shared some natural treasures that we find in this area, such as fossilized tree trunks over 130 million years old, crystal geodes, various fossils, and pigments of rare colors. We thank everyone who came to enjoy their Saturday afternoon with us, learning more about nature and healthy human interaction as part of it. Let's Live With Earth!
