Abstract
Will there be, in the future, space and living conditions for everyone? Food and pure water for all? Energy and resources? Will there ever be peace, freedom, equality and cooperation among mankind?This work represents a global view of this world we live in today with an environmental perspective and a positive attitude to the changes needed for a new way: A look at how the man on the planet has evolved, expanded and developed their own system of values and beliefs, organizing a civilization that has grown exploring all the features of the Earth with a single objective based on economic growth and forgetting the essentials of human and natural ecosystems; A look at the societies of the day today and how these are questions and propose to change its structures; A look at how science, technology and ultimately human consciousness can be combined and directed to the welfare of humanity and the environment. An approach to natural and human disasters of the present through Design for sustainable development in the future..
Vision
Humanity aligned with natural flows and eco-systems of Planet Earth, with a civilization based on three main bases: 1-Local Construction, 2-Local Resource Production and Energy Self-Sufficiency. Experimentation and development of new economic, social and environmental models, in order to make progress in the use of the most efficient, profitable and null ecological impact techniques and methodologies, new forms and rituals for successful community development and human positive impact. Transition to Social Self-Sufficient Systems that work synergistically with the natural ecosystems and surrounding conditions.

Abstract: Haverá no futuro espaço e condições para todos vivermos? Haverá água e comida para todos? Haverá ainda energia e recursos? Haverá algum dia paz, liberdade, igualdade e cooperação entre a humanidade?Este trabalho representa um olhar sobre o mundo em que vivemos nos dias de hoje com uma perspectiva ecológica e uma atitude positiva em relação às mudanças necessárias para um novo caminho; Um olhar sobre a forma como o homem evoluiu no planeta, se expandiu e desenvolveu o seu próprio sistema de valores e crenças, organizando uma civilização que tem vindo a crescer explorando todos os recursos da Terra com um único objectivo baseado no crescimento económico e esquecendo os bens essenciais do homem e dos ecossistemas naturais; Um olhar sobre as sociedades dos dias de hoje e de que modo estas se questionam e propõem a alterar as suas estruturas; Um olhar sobre de que forma a ciência, a tecnologia e por último a consciência humana possam ser aliadas e direccionadas para o bem-estar da humanidade e do meio ambiente.Uma abordagem às catástrofes naturais e humanas do presente através do Design para um desenvolvimento sustentável no futuro.

Industrial Revolution - building a system based on fossil fuels, human exploration to the role of machine, corrupt and unsustainable work model. On the other hand great evolution to the standard of living we have achieved today.
Revolução Industrial - Construção de um sistema baseado em combustíveis fósseis, exploração do homem para o papel de máquina, modelo de trabalho corrupto e insustentável. Por outro lado grande evolução para o nível de vida que temos hoje em dia.
Current system - Based on consumerism, competition, excess of brands and global free markets, manipulated by the media, in a materialistic individualistic and disposable society.
Sistema Actual - Baseado no consumismo, competição, excesso de marcas e mercados livres, manipulado pelos media, numa sociedade materialista, descartável e individualista
Economic System failed, money above all else: values, people, animals, lives ... Power games, manipulation, war, crisis in the distribution of global resources and local production
Desequilíbrios Globais - Sistema económico falhado , dinheiro acima de tudo: valores , pessoas , animais , vidas... Jogos de poder, manipulação , guerra, crise na distribuição dos recursos globais e na produção local
Overcrowded Planet - Population growing and worrying situation for future generations, general pollution, radiation, disease, genetic modification, mental disorders, violence, crimes, deforestation, animal extinction, desertification, and all the rest of the world barely generated by all these problems and many others entrenched in this old system.
